Off the beaten path in the Santa Fe Plaza we got lured in by someone offering a taste of a falafel. It was so good we opted to put more on the meter and returned for a try at this restaurant. What can I say? The falafel was to die for crusty on the outside it's nice and soft on the inside. The sandwiches are huge and if you're thinking of getting fries you better be pretty hungry because they bring out a basket full. Thanks to the Sous Chef who offered the sample.
Food is fresh and delicious. Greg the chef is often behind the counter preparing your order and making sure your meal is amazing. I love the pitas with all of the healthy ingredients. There's plenty of room in the Plaza Galeria for people to dine and the decor is modern but still comfortable and homey. People behind the counter are super friendly and helpful. I try to eat here a couple days a week as I work on the plaza. Really love this place it's my new go-to for lunch.love the Beestro.
For those of you yelpites who do not know me "yet"; I grew up in the Mideast. I was raised on Falafel and Shawarma. Eating this falafel sandwich with tahini sauce, brought back memories of grabbing a falafel in the market place and dodging camels. The falafel balls were crispy, moist and flavorful. The fresh red cabbage and vegetables were an added treat. The pita bread blended nicely (which is rare). It was delicious. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu, now that the Beestro has passed my falafel test..:) Yallah!, Enjoy my heritage Yelpites..:) Thanks for reading.
